RESTON, Va.--()--SOSi announced today that it hired Jeffrey C. Mounts as a Senior Account Executive for the Federal Civilian Sector. Bringing nearly 30 years of experience at the U.S. Department of State, Mounts will be responsible for developing and managing customer and partner relationships to advise the company’s business units and sales teams. The role involves a deep understanding of the federal procurement process, including navigating complex sales cycles and leveraging large Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs).

“Jeff possesses extensive experience and brings an intimate understanding of the civilian agency market to SOSi,” said SOSi CEO Julian Setian. “With a large part of our business in that sector and growing, his knowledge will prove invaluable as we drive greater business penetration.”

Drawing on his extensive expertise in managing large-scale financial operations and leveraging advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, Mounts will also help align the company’s digital innovation and transformation capabilities with evolving customer needs. With key corporate partnerships with Oracle and others, SOSi has successfully delivered among the government’s largest financial compensation systems and seeks to expand that business across the sector.

“Federal agencies must modernize legacy systems to better support employees and citizens, which is not an easy task. SOSi has proven expertise in implementing complex ERP solutions to transform operations, and I look forward to bolstering the company's technical capabilities and service excellence,” said Jeffrey Mounts.

Mounts possesses deep knowledge of federal financial processes and compensation systems, including expertise in personnel and pay policy, worldwide payment execution and banking services, after-employment pension and benefit administration, corporate systems development and program management, and global shared services implementation and operation. Prior to joining SOSi, Mounts was the Global Head of Foreign Mission Banking at Citibank.

“Government agencies seeking to advance their financial management operations trust SOSi’s nuanced expertise and insight. As a seasoned expert who understands modernization challenges firsthand, Jeff will empower our teams to deliver effective and tailored solutions that eliminate inefficiencies, enhance service delivery, and build resiliency,” Setian added.
