LOS ANGELES--()--The Cashmere Fund (NASD: CSHMX, “the Fund”), a venture capital interval fund designed for retail and institutional investors alike, that supports its portfolio companies through influential partnerships, today announced a strategic collaboration with Apex Clearing Corporation (“Apex”), an innovation launchpad for the global investment ecosystem.

As a new addition to the Apex platform, the Fund is set to be offered to clients of a leading Apex-supported brokerage in early 2025, with more distribution alliances planned later this year.

The Cashmere Fund is the first direct-to-consumer venture capital fund, designed to accommodate all investors regardless of status. As an evergreen fund, it accepts new capital on a daily basis with a minimum investment of just $500. Since inception, the Fund has made over 35 investments in companies with a focus on high growth in the consumer goods, consumer technology, financial technology, health technology, and software sectors.

“We are proud to collaborate with Apex Fintech Solutions, an organization that has been at the forefront of innovation in the same manner as we have,” said Elia Infascelli, Partner and CEO of Cashmere. “Apex has built institutional-quality solutions for investment platforms that serve retail investors and the philosophical alignment between us makes for an ideal collaboration. We are bringing venture capital to retail investors through our highly accessible fund structure, and this alliance will allow the Fund to reach even more investors, scaling its assets to further support more ambitious companies and entrepreneurs.”

The Cashmere Fund primarily invests in early and growth stage companies, as well as growth stage secondaries. Retail and institutional investors alike can currently invest in the Fund in a matter of minutes by visiting TheCashmereFund.com. The Fund offers liquidity through semi-annual redemption windows and annual distributions.

“In recent years, investors from all walks of life have been eager to invest in high growth companies, but access has been limited,” said Connor Coughlin, Chief Commercial Officer, Apex Fintech Solutions. “Through our strategic alliance with The Cashmere Fund, Apex is excited to democratize these high-potential investment opportunities. Our innovative platform will empower our brokerage and fintech partners to offer their clients exposure to groundbreaking companies with minimal investment barriers and regular liquidity opportunities. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to democratizing investing for all.”

The Cashmere Fund was launched in 2022 by Sweater Ventures and currently has over 5,000 investors. In 2024, Cashmere, an affiliate of venture investor Forma Capital and a registered investment advisor, was named as sub-advisor for the Fund and assumed fundraising, marketing, and capital deployment responsibilities. Sweater continues to oversee investor relations, compliance and asset valuation functions.

The Cashmere Fund is led by portfolio managers Mr. Infascelli and Mary Owen, and partners Josh Feine, Bruce Popko and Ari Schottenstein. Collectively, the team brings decades of executive experience in the sports, entertainment, venture capital, investment banking, and technology industries. In addition to making new investments, the Cashmere team leverages its expertise in sales, marketing, and influential partnerships to help grow existing companies in the Fund’s portfolio.
